Who we are
EMTS is a student society of the University of Tartu School of Economics and Business Administration. We run this website and are responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: your name, e-mail, phone number, university, programme, whether you are an Erasmus student, student code, guest details, dietary needs, costume ideas, messages, and what you post in the forum. We also count page views anonymously (no cookies, no IP addresses, no tracking across sites).
Why we collect it
To organise events and register you, to answer your messages, to review team applications, to run the forum and to pre-fill forms for you when you are logged in. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Cookies
We use one login cookie and one language cookie. Both are needed for the site to work, so no cookie banner is required.
How long we keep it
Event registrations are kept for the year of the event, then deleted. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Messages and applications are kept for up to one year.
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete your data at any time. Logged-in members can edit or delete their account on the Account page. For anything else, write to us using the contact page and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
